Why We Aren't a 25-Man Raiding Guild

A lot of potential recruits might overlook our guild, Crimson Guard of Medivh, because we aren't a 25-man raiding guild. Why should a recruit choose our guild over other guilds, when obviously we can't offer the kind of loot that drops in Heroic Naxxaramas, or other Heroic raiding dungeons? Mainly, we've found, especially in Medivh, that it's hard to manage 40, 25, 20 member raiding teams. We think that 25-man raids and/or guilds are too large. And there's always that numb-skull (or 2 or 3) that gets let in the guild. We don't always get the fortune of getting to know all the members of the guild, and we certainly don't get ample opportunities to understand every member's play-style in a 25 man raiding team. We like to keep it simple... maybe in the future, when the right circumstances present itself, we may move in to a 25 man team... but as it stands for the near distant future, we'd like to remain a small 10 man raiding guild.

With that said, we consider ourselves a tight-knit family of friends. We bring in people who share our philosophy of the game: to play (and understand) our classes well, and to have fun. We frequently bring in friends who are in different guilds. Our family of friends reaches beyond guild-borders. Consistently, we've been running Nax, OS, & The Vault without any problems or glitches --- thanks to the leadership of Ensene, our fearless GM.

I think if you're looking for a different kind of guild, a guild that isn't so interested in loot as much as we enjoy the raiding aspects of the game, while raiding with a smaller group of friends... I suggest you give us some considerable thought. You won't see us spamming our recruiting needs in general chat, but we do look at each and every prospective recruit with consideration. Currently, we are very interested in a Feral Druid and a Hunter. If you're interested in CGoM, please fill an application or send an ingame tell to Ensene/Miutu, Beriana/Kayllizzy, or Sardonica/Natalel. Thank you and enjoy your travels in the game of the World of Warcraft!
